Your favorite off-leash dog park

Prairie Moraine Dog Park includes Dane County's largest off-leash dog exercise area.

Covering 80 acres of varied terrain and with an extensive network of trails, you can explore a different route each time you visit.  An additional 12-acre parcel at the southwest end of the park was purchased and is being developed. The target date to open this new section is slated for Fall 2025.

See the map below for the entrance to the park, located at 6679 Wesner Lane in Verona, Wisconsin.

Ice Age Trail -
Prairie Moraine

Enjoy the relatively undisturbed beauty and quiet of the restored oak woodlands, savanna, and prairie communities.  And don't miss the view from the scenic overlook on the ridge!

Dogs are welcome in this portion of the park as well, but - as part of the Ice Age Trail they must be leashed.  Ice Age Trail hikers are not prepared to meet uncontrolled dogs, even if friendly!

The separate entrance is located adjacent to the parking lot at the corner of Hwy PB and Wesner Lane. The address is 6718 Wesner Lane, Verona, Wisconsin.
