Prairie Moraine Trail Run “The Prairie Dog” Saturday, September 5, 2026
Thank you for attending and supporting our inaugural event - view race results!
Runners enjoyed a beautiful 5K or 10K run in one of Dane County’s beautiful natural spaces. Ours boasts
170-acres of restored prairies and Oak savanna - varied terrain of well-maintained trails.Amenities included: on-site restroom facilities, post-race refreshments, race aid and first aid station, prizes and a takeaway gift!
100% of the net proceeds from entry fees is donated to the Prairie Moraine Friends (a non-profit 501c3 organization) and will be used to restore and manage the park.
We are honored to be a part of the Savanna Series Trail Runs and American Trail Running Association (ATRA).
We appreciate our sponsors who helped make this event happen!
